MY PURPLE HAZE: Kuching...part 1

Ola, as promised..entry kali ani is about our trip to Kuching from 26-29 Dec 2009. I will divide it into 4 parts..kira everyday punya story la..hehe..ok let's start our journey from negara tercinta dulu. So last 26th Dec my parents sent us off at the airport. Our flight was scheduled at 1.10pm but we arrived there early around 11.20am. Biasalah mesti check in 2hrs before flight kan. Nway, after we checked-in our luggage apa semua, we had lunch kat Express fastfood.

By 12.30pm hubs & I waved my parents goodbye and then masuk ke waving gallery. Before that we went thru immigrations dulu. Sempatlah round the shops kajap before we proceed to the waiting gallery. Tunggu punya tunggu alum jua ada announcement kana suruh boarding. Time was already 1pm..aikzz..don't tell me our flight mcm delay jer..hmm..at 1.30pm barutah ada announcement for boarding. Confirm delay. Ertinya 3pm baru sampai Kuching ni cos it's a 1hr flight from Brunei.

After paying for the taxi pakai coupon, we went straight to our hotel, Grand Margherita Hotel in the city centre. Dulu namanya Holiday Inn. It's a 20mins drive from the airport. After checking in at the reception, we were given a room at level 4. Hubs n me pun naik lah to our room, but upon opening the door..jeng..jeng..jeng..ADA ORANG LAH!! hmm..cemana buleh tu?? so we went back to the lobby arah reception and complained that our given room was occupied dah. The head receptionist apologised and after double checking the matter, found out it was their fault and so we were given another room on level 2.

This is our 2nd room..cantik tak??? hehe..nda alang2 durang replace our room ah. It's a Junior Suite room actually. How great is that? We paid like B$100+ from Brunei and we got this amazing room, and the view is fantastic..damai eh..

After we freshen up, time to go jalan..no wasting time eh cos we've already wasted half a day ahir sampai in Kuching. Our first shopping centre was The Spring Mall. This is similar to Times Square in KL. We went there around 5pm..still daytime..udah keluar dah malam dah..hehe..

That night after balik ke hotel, hubs and me rehat2 jap sambil liat movie The Dark Knight on HBO. It was like Batman marathon or sumthin cos before we jalan that afternoon, Batman Forever was on HBO and now Dark Knight lagi. Hubs felt hungry and we decided to go to the fastfood restaurant across our hotel after the movie..but then suddenly i heard a very familiar sound..hmm, mcm bunyi hujan ja..liat out the window, yup it's rainin..so we had to wait til taduh then barutah we jalan again.
